Receive Abduction Alerts

Our children are one of our most precious resources. In an effort to better serve our community and protect our children the Branson Police Department is building a notification list for our local "Abduction Central Alert" system (A.C.A.). This system can be used in addition to the nationwide Amber Alert system and works in a similar fashion.

The A.C.A. is different because it is designed to specifically alert those who have chosen to participate in this program within a 100 mile radius of the abduction. In the event of an abduction, important information such as vehicle description, direction of travel, descriptions of the child and the abductor will be broadcast to individuals or organizations that opt into our list. The information is sent via email, fax and pager depending on contact methods specified by each participant.

The information provided will be used only to contact you with abduction alerts. Your information is not shared with third parties. During a search for a child, timely information is critical. It is exceedingly helpful to have our community assisting officers by providing information that will aid in locating the missing child.
