The City of Branson Public Works and Engineering Department is inviting residents to a series of public meetings and to take a survey to assess and address flooding issues within the community.
City officials would like to know of any houses or businesses that have flooding issues. They will take the results of the public meetings and surveys to help identify areas of flooding problems and prioritize future projects throughout the City, in a city-wide Stormwater Master Plan.
There will be two community meetings, September 17 and September 18 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the Community Center, located at 201 Compton Dr, in Branson. Residents and business operators who are located north of Hwy 76 are encouraged to attend on Monday, September 17, while residents and business operators who are located south of Hwy 76, are encouraged to attend on Tuesday, September 18.
All residents and business owners are encouraged to fill out a survey as well. Paper surveys will be handed out at the community meetings or residents can follow this link to fill out the quick, eight-question survey: https://www.research.net/r/NCK87BB
