The City of Branson Tree Board has chosen the Huff House, located at 511 S. Business 65, for June’s Beautification Award.
Built in 1907, The Huff House has a lot of local history tied to it. It was built as a tribute to the early 20th century modern home and has remained in the ownership of the Huff family until 2016 when it was purchased by the current owner. The Huff House has recently been renovated and is now a “Retreat” for small to large groups who can enjoy themselves in the big house or the cabin units in the back.
This particular business has done a wonderful job at preserving the great canopy trees during the renovation and that is why they have been recognized by the City of Branson Tree Board for June’s Beatification award. The Tree Board values the benefits we receive from our existing canopy trees and are extremely excited to see that the Huff House was able to keep those trees in their landscape.
Beautification Awards will be presented on a monthly basis between May and October. The criteria for nominations are:
A commercial property located within the Branson city limits
Landscaped area must be highly visible to the general public
Nominations may be submitted by contacting City Planner, Amy Jackson at 417-337-8568 or by email: email@example.com
