City of Branson Invites Public to Celebrate Arbor Day

BRANSON, Mo – The City of Branson will be hosting an Arbor Day Celebration Friday, April 6th, 10:00 am at Alexander Park located at 901 Hawthorne Street, Branson, Missouri.

Residents and businesses are invited to participate in the Arbor Day celebration with the City of Branson and Missouri Department of Conservation. The City will kick off the celebration with Mayor Karen Best’s annual proclamation of Arbor Day at 10:00 am at Alexander Park. The event will be set up in the southwest corner of the park where the City of Branson and local MDC foresters will be demonstrating proper mulching technique at each tree, including two newly planted memorial trees funded through the City of Branson Tree Board memorial program. The City of Branson would welcome any volunteers that would like to participate in the mulching demos; just be sure to bring your gloves!
