Branson roads remain in great shape with temps above freezing. Slick spots on bridges still possible

Road conditions in Branson are in great shape. Heaviest moisture continues to track along the 60 Highway and I-44 corridors. Most road conditions in these areas remain in good shape as well.

Branson Fire Chief Ted Martin reports "The tabular forecast from the NWS shows the temperatures for Branson should remain above freezing over the next 24-36 hours. That means, we should simply experience a rain event, 50-80% chance through Saturday."

At 5:55 a.m., Assistant Director of Public Works Keith Francis reported that some bridge temperatures are at 30 degrees, so motorists might experience some slick places on bridges. City of Branson street crews pretreated bridge decks over night, but streets in Branson remain in overall good condition at the time of this posting.
